The Playful Acorns Play Group is a FREE offering in collaboration with Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C). Make new connections and enjoy coffee while your kids play and have a snack at this free play group. Save the dates and register (space is limited to 15 children and their accompanying adults) for our upcoming schedule of events: - Thursday, February 29th from 9:30-11 a.m.: Verona Public Library - Meeting Room, Verona - Thursday, April 4th from 10-11:30 a.m.: Lakeview Park Indoor Shelter, Middleton - Thursday, June 6th from 9:30-11 a.m.: Oregon Public Library, Oregon What's a play group? A high-quality, fun, structured and un-structured play experience for children (ages birth to 5 years) and caregivers that provides opportunities for play-based learning to support positive child development. Play Groups provide opportunities for caregivers/parents to connect with other adults and their communities. Some events may also feature local resources and outdoor play and activities before or after the indoor portion is complete. April 4th event at Lakeview Park in Middleton: This free event will immediately follow the first day of our April/May "Mini & Me" Yoga and Stories in the Park session (from 9-10 a.m.) in partnership with little om BIG OM and Middleton Parks and Rec inside the heated shelter. (PAID) Explore the park and playground before or after class. (FREE) June 6th event at Oregon Public Library: Before or after you arrive, enjoy the library's outdoor storywalk and next door Lerner Conservation Park. Please remember: -Sign liability waiver in advance: https://forms.wix.com/f/710573712267332854 -Up to two children (ages 0-5 years) may accompany one adult per booking (3 total participants). Email info@playfulacorns.com if you have questions. -Socks are required for anyone entering the play space / play mats. -No food or drink allowed in the play space / play mat area (must be consumed at tables). -If anyone in your group is sick, please stay home. -Supervise your child(ren) at all times.

Cancellation Policy

Hello! A maximum of 3 participants (one adult and up to two children) can be booked under one form for Playful Acorns programs. If more than two children or adult will be attending with your group, another parent / legal guardian / caregiver must fill out a separate waiver and registration form with them. Please read and fill out the waiver before completing your booking. If you've joined us before, you do not need to fill out a new waiver. New for 2024, Playful Acorns will honor cancellations for a full refund up to 48 hours before the program start time. In the event that you and/or your child(ren) are unable to attend the program for any reason beyond that time period, your registration fee will be earmarked for our "Play It Forward" Fund, which is available for those who would like to try our activities but are unable to for financial reasons. In the event that a program is canceled by Playful Acorns or one of its host sites due to severe weather, illness, or other emergency, you will be notified and refunded in full.
